New Home Design - a custom home on your site. We work with you to assess the site, design the home with associated structures and land use, navigate through approvals, select a contractor, and keep an eye on construction. Deep green ecological and permaculture design principles infuse all our work in this realm.
Addition / Renovations - working with your existing building, we create accurate as-built drawings, then design renovations and / or additions to improve function, energy performance, and access to natural light and views. Most of our renovations reduce energy use by an average of 50%, even with additional space.
Feasibility Studies - we visit a potential property with you to assess its suitability to meet your needs, discuss structure, site constraints and opportunities, and financial feasibility. We do site assessment for permaculture design as it relates to suitability for integrated homes and outbuildings, looking at climate, water, solar, soil, vegetation, and grading as well as social infrastructure.
Commercial Design - whether a fit-up in existing space or a new build, we work with you to create a beautiful and economical home base for your shop, office, or restaurant, preferring to work with small enterprise and owner / operators with shared values.
